Greta started skating at the age of two and played ice hockey competitively for 12 years, but decided to try speed skating when a coach from her local club approached and said "Come speed skate. Your country needs you." She put on some old skates and the rest is history. When Greta is not on the ice, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
