*Submission deadline of required materials for ISU Clearance each season is the 3rd Friday in May.
Please see the following USS documents to assist all non US citizen athletes regarding the requirements set forth by ISU Communication 2526 Rule 109. All non US citizens will need to comply with ISU Rules if they wish to participate in international speedskating events representing the United States. US Speedskating is here to assist you in this process to ensure you meet the May 19th deadline with sufficient application materials. Do not hesitate to email membership@usspeedskating.org should you have any questions or need further clarification.
If you already have an ISU Clearance Certificate on file with the USS National Office from a prior season, your certificate will continue to remain valid unless any of the data stated on your clearance certificate changes (this only pertains to the final certificate, not your application documents). Should any of the information change as stated on your ISU Clearance Certificate, you have an immediate obligation to report said changes to USS to submit to the ISU so that a new Clearance Certificate can be issued for replacement on your behalf.
