Max began speed skating when he was 5 years old at the local oval in Roseville, Mn. with the Midway Learn to Speedskate program, about 10 minutes from our home. His older brother led the way and Max followed, being very competitive, winning many local competitions,
In Max’s spare time you will find him at the Roseville Skating Center, home to the largest outdoor refrigerated rink in the country. When Max is not practicing there, you will find him lifting weights or helping run the facilities as he recently found employment there. He also has played catcher for his high school baseball team. Max recently passed his driver’s test and really enjoys driving his black Dodge truck.
