Eliza Rhodehamel started speed skating at the end of 2018 after her mom saw a flyer at the local rink and suggested she try it. She lives in Madison but drives to Milwaukee every day to practice at the Pettit National Center under Coach Hongyang. Off the ice she prefers to be outdoors and specifically likes to hike and swim. She loves traveling and seeing new places, as well as hanging out with her friends. Her favorite types of food include all fruits and especially ice cream.
