Spectator Information
Join us at the Utah Olympic Oval for the first short track competition of the 2026 Olympic season! Admission is complimentary—come cheer on the nation’s top skaters and rising stars as they kick off the road to Milano. This event is a key early test, revealing how much athletes have progressed over the summer and where they stand at the start of the season. You might even catch a glimpse of future Olympians who could be competing here in Salt Lake City in 2034!

Entry Deadline:
July, 30th, 2025 without any late entry charges
Entry Fee: $75
Late entries accepted until August 4th, 2025 5pm MT. A $100 late entry fee charge will apply.
Competition Format:
This race is open to all skaters aged 5 and up. Competition will be run with a no-elimination format. Competition will be run as an ability by gender for Open A Men & Women, and Open B Men. All other group will be run as mixed-gender ability groups.
Preliminary Schedule:
Friday: 2:15pm – 4:30pm Official Practice
Saturday: 7:30am - 8:20am Warm Up, 9am Racing
Sunday: 7:30am – 8:20am Warm up, 9am Racing
Coaches Meeting and Draw:
Friday: 5:00pm virtual
A Zoom link will be sent to all eligible coaches named by their athletes during the registration process.
Official Training:
Official Training is available complimentary on

Eligibility:
National Age Group Championships are only open to USS members with US citizenship and Permanent or Temporary Resident Card Holders.
Athlete Check-In:
All athletes are required to pick up their transponders either in person or via a designated individual on Friday, August 8th from 2pm – 4pm at the check-in table in the upstairs offices.
No deposit will be required.
Not returned or lost helmet covers will be charged to the skater at $20/unit.
Not returned or lost transponders will be charged to the skater at $100/unit
