2025 Age Group Nationals Short Track

Experience the nation's top up-and-coming development skaters at the 2025 Age Group National Championship in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey! Skaters ages 10 to 70+ will compete for national age group champion titles in this event.

Entry Fee $10 per person.

Parents and family members of participating athletes will receive one complimentary three-day ticket per athlete registration. Additional tickets are available for $10 per day, helping to offset event costs.

2025 US Age Group National Championships Short Track

March 28 – 30,  2025

Format: All-Finals – No-Elimination

This event is open to US citizens and permanent resident card holders.

This event will run in conjunction with the
National Challenge Races, for skaters ages 9-14 (time standards apply, separate registration)
Future of Speed ‘Let’s Race’, for skaters ages 8-12 (separate registration)

Each athlete will be eligible for one complimentary 3-day entry ticket for a parent or family member. Additional family members will be charged $10/day in an effort to help cover event cost.

Entry Deadline:

March 18, 2025 at 5pm MT

Late entries accepted until March 24, 2025 at 5pm MT. A $100 late entry fee charge will apply.

Preliminary Schedule:

A preliminary time schedule suggests a start time of 8am EST each day and an approx. end time of 3pm EST each day.
*schedule is subject to change and depends on the final number of participants.

Coaches Meeting:

Thursday: 5:00pm EST virtually

A Zoom link will be sent to all eligible and current coaches named by their athletes during the registration process.

Official Training:

Official Training is available complimentary on

Thursday March 27th, 2025 from 4:30-6:00pm EST

Safety Equipment:

All USS member skaters are required to wear full-body cut-resistant protection at least Level 2 (either integrated into the skinsuit or separate underwear). Please take note of ISU Communication #2636.  USS highly recommends cut resistant Level 3 suits and gloves.

Eligibility:

• 11 years of age as of July 1, 2024
• Appropriate age group time standard (see rules & regs page 42)

Athlete Check-In:

All athletes are required to pick up their helmet cover and transponders either in person or via a designated individual on Thursday, March 27 between 12pm and 4:00pm EST,  at the ProSkate Ice Arena.

No deposit will be required.

Not returned transponders will be charged to the skater at $100/unit.

Not returned helmet covers will be charged to the skater at $20/cover
