HOW DID YOU GET INTO SPEEDSKATING?

Cruising the streets of South Beach with some plastic 3 wheel skates, I was approached by two women who told me I should start Inline Speed Skating. From there, I transitioned to the ice.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE SPEEDSKATING MOMENT?

In 2000, I captured National titles in Inline, Short Track, and Long Track all in the same year.

WHAT IS A CHALLENGE THAT YOU HAD TO OVERCOME?

Coming back from torn patella tendons in the knees.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF SPEEDSKATING?

It would probably be the fact that everyone usually has a plan before a race, but only one plan can achieve greatness.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT FOOD?

    Krispy Kreme Donuts

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN THE OFF-SEASON?

Visit the Florida Keys, kick back and relax on the water.
